The Optimistic

Louka Patenaude came into my life about 10 years ago, when he recorded my first band. My brother Steve, who was in the band, jokingly said to Louka that we needed him to form a band to open for us at our cd release show. Louka, being the good friend and fearless musician that he is, took the challenge and spontaneously began to form one of the best, most original collections of songs I've ever heard. He helped us put on a great show, and then spent the next couple of years recording and molding those songs into a masterpiece. His album, "The Optimistic," which you can listen to on his website, Louka's Catalog, is simply great music. If you are hungry for something exciting and new, well, you've found it. Listen up:

Some time ago Louka started a long crawl from the bottom of a well as he began writing and producing The Optimistic. A dynamic rock river that occasionally floods and flows backwards into tributaries of folk and country.  It's refreshing.

To be re-released in the Summer of 2012!
